HIFU Non Surgical Facelift At Beyond Beautiful Wellness Clinic In Liverpool

So last week I went to Beyond Beautiful Wellness Clinic for a HIFU treatment that was recommended to me by my gorgeous friend Carla. I’ll be honest I hadn’t really heard much about it, but I had been moaning to her about my face and neck for a while hence the recommendation. Most people would do a bit of research beforehand, but I trust her with my life, so I went along asking no questions lol!

Now she has been going to this salon for all her aesthetics for a really long time and she always looks beautiful and perfect and tells me all great things so I had heard a little bit about Joanne ( founder of Beyond Beautiful ) but wow after meeting her it became extremely clear her knowledge was second to none then I realised I recognised her from a few years ago when I use to go Dr Fab ( formally Lip Doctor ) and she was doing her training then it all made sense.

I had a few treatments upon visiting but the one I have had so many enquiries about is HIFU.

What is HIFU?

Since my treatment I have done quite a bit of research about this as I can’t be explaining or recommending something to my readers and followers if know nothing about it. It stands for High Intensity Focus Ultrasound and what it does it targets deep down in the foundation layer of your skin. This is the same layer addressed in cosmetic surgery called the SMAS layer (Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System) hence getting the name Non-Surgical Face Lift.

Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from outside in, this procedure bypasses the surface of the skin. Targeted energy is delivered specifically into the deep, structural tissues and muscles where collagen lives.

The HIFU technology involves delivering ultra-sound energy to rebuild collagen in the deep, dermal and sub dermal levels, which results in micro injury to that tissue. As the tissue heals, it increases collagen and as the collagen fibres organise and shorten, a tightening effect is seen on the skin.

What is the best age to get HIFU?

If you’re in your 30’s HIFU will stimulate the collagen production in your face and neck area and so help to delay the ageing process. The 40’s and 50’s age group is the most common for this treatment. Although treatment is still suitable if you are aged 60+.

Is it painful?

So, a few people have asked me is it painful?  I literally did not feel a thing it was so relaxing, and I probably could have fallen asleep only I was really interested in the machine and how it works so I was chatting away asking all kinds of questions.

What are the results and benefits ?

How long does it last?
