Hunter Owen is being written out of EastEnders. 

The troubled teen has been at the centre of the BBC soap’s festive storyline after he and his mother, Mel, had to deal with her new husband, Ray. 

Viewers were rocked when after a prolonged battle between Mel and Ray, Hunter ended up shooting his step dad.
