Rio, 39, has taken to social media to give fans an insight into his intense fitness session with his 26-year-old girlfriend.  

And in the sweet post the former England football player – who has sons Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine, and five-year-old daughter Tia with his late wife Rebecca Ellison – claimed the couple started getting hot and sweaty at their home gym in the early hours of the morning.
