Mathew Horne was on the way back to his parents’ house after a night out at the local pub when he was hit by the train. 

The 40 year old actor was reportedly clipped by an East Midlands Trains passenger train in the village of Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire on 20 December as he made his way home.
