Broadchurch star Sarah Parish has been rushed to hospital after shattering her leg after attempting to snowboard on a “cheap plastic sledge.”

And now the actress is facing major surgery after the terrifying incident following a day out in the snow.

Paramedics rushed to the scene after the star,49, fell while enjoying a  ‘snow day’ with her 8 year old daughter Ella-Jayne.
