IBIZA WEEKENDER STAR TO JOIN CAST OF SUPERBOOTY WHICH OPENS NEXT WEEK

Not content with the hearty dose of humiliation he received on stage during his recent stint in panto at The Epstein Theatre, heart-throb Jordan Davies has come back to Liverpool for a second helping!

For the Ibiza Weekender hunk has announced he will be starring in the brand new musical Superbooty which opens at Hanover Street theatre next Friday, 17th February.

And the cast have promised to dish out plenty of banter and ensure the buff Welshman is the butt of their jokes. But it is all in good humour…

Jordan had such a great time in Liverpool and enjoyed himself so much when he starred as the Genie in the Epstein’s Christmas panto Aladdin that he can’t wait to return to the city and work with panto dame Michael Chapman once again.

Reality TV star Jordan, who has appeared on Magaluf Weekender and Ex On The Beach is guaranteed to have all the ladies swooning and his cameo role will give them another chance to get a glimpse of his well-honed six-pack!

Michael, who is well known to the Epstein’s audiences as the dame, writer and director of the theatre’s beloved Easter and Christmas pantos, said: “We are very excited to welcome our favourite Welshman Jordan Davies to the cast of Superbooty.

“Jordan will be playing a cameo role as Superbooty’s muse – her go-to guru for inspiration in times of trouble. However, Jordan will be in for plenty of trouble himself as things go haywire. Can Jordan guide our hero out of danger? There’s only one way to find out…

“We can’t wait to have him back in Liverpool and can assure the audience that he will receive plenty of ribbing– but he can take it – he’s a great sport!”

Michael is super proud to present his new show – Superbooty – which is bound to pack a punch when it opens in just a week’s time.

Packed with non-stop knockabout naughtiness and nine nutty ninjas, SuperBooty is a fun-filled show for all the family which tells the story of a brand-new superhero we can all relate to – an ordinary girl with an extraordinary gift.

Starring Britain’s Got Talent 2016 finalist – Boogie Storm’s Lewis Pryor, Liverpool singing sensation Hayley Hampson, BBC’s ‘Young Dancer of the Year’ finalist and the award-winning Anamal Dance Company from Hoylake, this is a show that promises to kick some serious booty!

It also features Harry Popper grand finalist in the BBC Young Dancer 2015 competition with his show-stopping body popping!

Having written many pantos over the years and played the dame countless times, Michael is excited to present his first big non-panto production.

He revealed: “Superbooty is a clumsy, chunky, naughty superhero who has a tendency to mess everything up but somehow she manages to inspire the belief in people that anything is possible. Oh, and she can fly!”

Michael conjured up the SuperBooty character a couple of years ago when he was working on Jack and the Beanstalk at the Epstein.

He explained: “There was a problem with the ‘killing of the giant’ scene so I came up with the idea that Jack’s Mum would come on as a dodgy superhero and save the day.

“She was only on stage for two minutes but, she received a fantastic reaction. People were writing in to the theatre asking if she would be in the next panto! So, I wrote a show all about her!”

Michael’s fellow panto performers Lesley Butler and Lewis Pryor star in the show which sees the baddie, Dr Demeanour (played by Butler), turn little innocent children into an army of strawberry-blonde ninjas and devise a plan to take over the world. SuperBooty and her son, Anti-Freeze (played by Pryor), join forces to foil that plan…

Panto stalwart Tom Burroughs plays Keith, the owner of an embarrassingly bad dance school. Hayley Hampson stars as his daughter, MichelleHarry Barnes (aka incredible dancer Harry Popper) plays the science project gone wrong, Frank FunkensteinBradley Thompson plays Cliff, a deluded contemporary dance choreographer and Katie Cross is a time traveller.

The audience can look forward to watching crazy characters literally flying across the stage, lots of daft jokes and world class dancing provided by Harry Popper and Anamal Dance Company! There is also some very funky music courtesy of Michael and Danny Smith, the musical director.

Theatre manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said: If you’ve ever enjoyed one of our pantos then you will love SuperBooty. It’s a family show – suitable for people of all ages – so book your tickets now for the funniest and funkiest new show in town.”
