The Voice viewers left confused over judge Gavin Rossdale: ‘Who on earth is he?’

The Bush frontman joined his fellow judges Will.I.Am, Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson on the first show of The Voice’s new series.

But while fans were thrilled to see the other judges, Gavin got a mixed reception. 

Despite being lead singer of the British rock band for 25 years, viewers had no idea who he was.

And the fact that the star was formerly married to No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani did little to help his plight.
