The Old Blind School In Liverpool

By  |

The Old Blind School or #TOBS (as it is affectionately known) is now open. It’s been modelled on the extremely successful Old Sessions House (#TOSH) in Knutsford. The Old Blind School, a grade 2 listed & iconic building, after many years of neglect, is now restored and majorly revamped sympathetically in keeping with the building. The building itself is converted in to a 200+ cover restaurant across two floors, with a state-of-the-art kitchen. The Old Blind School is not just be about great food but also unique fine ales, fantastic wines and a bespoke list of fabulous cocktails.

  Selection of mains

Selection of deserts

I went last week and had a gorgeous meal. There was such a wide range of dishes as you will be able to see by my pictures and also by checking out the menu there is something for everybody.

I started with the  ‘Liverpool Gin Brined Duck’  and followed by one of my fav dishes of all time ‘ Duck L’Orange ‘. If any of you know me you will know how I am such a huge duck fan and both these dishes were just divine!

Im quite fussy when it comes to deserts.. I’m more of starter and main type of girl!! But I had a little try of everything and they were all amazing.. I think my vote has got to go to the ‘ Classic Lemon Brûlée ‘. I think its really hard to get thee perfect Brûlée but this was cooked to perfection!

I w0uld thoroughly recommend giving the Old Blind School a go as you will not be disappointed. The food was amazing, service was outstanding and the venue is a treat in itself!
