Coronation Street leaves viewers in tears over ‘heartbreaking’ scenes for Ruairi’s funeral

Michelle and Steve McDonald came together to say goodbye to their baby boy who didn’t survive when he was born at 23 weeks.

As the grieving parents stood by the tiny white coffin, vicar Billy Mayhew conducted the ceremony and just as the couple said their final words to their son, viewers took to Twitter to express how heartbroken they were.
