The Epstein Theatre will be wowing audiences from 17th – 20th November with four nights of incredible live music with something to suit all musical tastes.

To kick of the weekend of music, critically acclaimed folk artists Show of Hands are bringing their Walk With Metour to The Epstein Theatre for one night only on Thursday 17th November.

The multi award-winning duo, made up of stand-out singer songwriter Steve Knightley and inspired instrumentalistPhil Beer, will be joined by their long-standing double bassist/vocalist Miranda Sykes for the tour.

Their latest album Long Way Home has received rave reviews across the board, and has been nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ‘Best Album’ category, whilst their 2015 Autumn Tour has been hailed as the best yet. This year has already seen regular airplay on BBC Radio 2 for Show of Hands, by Mark Radcliffe, Steve Wright and Janice Long

On Friday 18th November Eagles fans can catch Talon a band who truly transcended the tag of ‘tribute’. The band have become a brand name in their own right, who are not only revered by their peers and respected by the music industry but dearly loved by their massive and expanding fan base which together have become a ‘family’. In 2016 Talon presents a brand-new production of their award winning Best of Eagles.

This stunning production is a show of two halves with the first half delivering a world class laid back vibe with an in-depth look at the ‘early Eagles roots’ before visiting the brilliant Hell Freezes Over and going right through to the critically acclaimed Long Road Out of EdenThe second half arrives in style with a complete change of mood and pace featuring those classic Eagles Greatest Hits from their timeless back catalogue.

The Epstein is excited to welcome internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Julia Fordham on Saturday19thNovember. Following her sold-out Porcelain 25 Tour Julia is returning to the Theatre to perform a selection of fan favourites. All songs performed by Julia will be chosen by fans in advance of the Live By Request Tour.

Along with the hits (Happy Ever After, Where Does The Time Go and (Love Moves) In Mysterious Ways, I Thought It Was You Julia is reaching out to ask her fans what songs they might like to have added to the set. All suggestions will be placed in and then pulled from what Julia promises will be a very large and fashionable hat before the tour begins. With her exquisite voice, stellar musicians and collection of memorable songs, this will be an evening not to be missed!

Closing the weekend of music on Sunday, 20th November is British singer-songwriter Andrew Roachford. Ever since bulldozing his way onto the scene with unforgettable tracks like Cuddly Toy and Family Man in the late 80s,Roachford’s maverick take on music has spread far and wide.

With his latest offering. Roachford delivers a deeply honest and powerful album.  He is back doing what he does best – taking the daily challenges of life and love and helping the rest of us make sense of it all.  He says: “You start off being what you’re not in life and then the path has this uncanny way of bringing you back to who you really are.  Life is really just a journey back home.”

Epstein Theatre General Manager Rebekah Pichilingi commented: “We’re delighted to have such a stellar musical line up in one weekend. We hope audiences enjoy it as much as we will.”
