Liverpool Town Hall To Host Santa’s Magical Grotto For Christmas 2016

Breaking news from the North Pole! Santa Claus will be bringing his magical Grotto to Liverpool Town Hall this Christmas!

After a number of years at St George’s Hall, Santa has decided to have a change of scene for Christmas 2016 and is setting up his new Grotto in the grand setting of the city’s Town Hall.

Santa is looking forward to meeting all the boys and girls of Liverpool in the stunning surroundings of the magnificent Grade I listed Town Hall building and hopes his Grotto will be bigger and better than ever forChristmas 2016.

Santa’s Magical Grotto sets the scene for an exciting festive season when it opens each weekend from 26 November to 11 December. It will then be open daily from Friday, 16^th December to Friday, 23rd December.

The traditional style Grotto will be housed in The Crypt of the Town Hall, where children and their families will be greeted by Santa’s Elves. They will meet the Man in the Red Suit himself and let him know what’s on their Christmas list.

He will also be gauging who’s naughty or nice so be on your best behaviour! Children will be presented with an early Christmas gift – especially if they’ve been good.

The Grotto is open from 10am to 5pm (last entry 4.30pm). Tickets are priced at £7.50 and include meeting Santa Claus, a selection box and entry for two accompanying adults (£1.50 for additional adults).

A professional photographer will be on-hand to capture the ultimate festive magical moment – when youngsters meet Santa.
