Liverpool Hoteliers Association hosted a colourful Halloween  themed  charity awards evening at the Hilton Hotel last night.   The inaugural   event was held to honour the unsung and hardworking heroes within the Liverpool Hotel industry and gave them the  opportunity to be  recognised and rewarded  in front of their peers and hospitality experts.  Eight Awards were presented  on the evening including Outstanding Contribution to the City/Industry, Community Champion, Young Chef of the Year  and Unsung Hero.

A drinks reception was followed by a gourmet dinner with wine and included a thrilling routine from the MD Productions dance troupe.  The evening was hosted by Radio City 2’s Simon Ross and included entertainment from the Rat Pack ‘Exclusive Duo’ and girl band ‘Girls Talk’

This event was organised in association with World Class Service and allowed  Hoteliers to let their hair down whilst raising valuable funds for charitable organisations, Hospitality Action and Woodlands Hospice.

Signature Living’s founder, Lawrence Kenwright was the popular winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award and said “I would not be here tonight if every single member of my team had not given an outstanding contribution to every one of our projects”

Marcus Magee, General Manager of Hilton Hotel Liverpool city centre and Chair of the Liverpool Hoteliers Association said “It was gratifying to see so many of our team members being recognised and rewarded for their commitment and excellent service delivery.  The Liverpool Hotel Association and its members have a crucial role to play in the development, education and training of young people, who are the future of our industry and part of the future of the city region economy”
