The host was left shocked and calling for his Good Morning Britain co-star Richard Arnold to be sacked after he hit him on-air over a comment he made.

Piers, Richard and co-host Susanna Reid were discussing the new Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

But as Richard shared all the latest gossip on the highly-anticipated movie, Piers was far from impressed.

So much so, Piers got up during the interview and went to walk off set only for Richard to “attack” him.
