Virtual Racing At City Style Spot – NYL Restaurant And Bar

Race fans who want to escape the crowds (and the weather) at Aintree are being invited to the city’s newest hangout to watch it live over the three day festival.
NYL Restaurant and Bar, on North John Street, Liverpool, will have screens showing live racing coverage with commentary of the Crabbie’s Grand National Festival 2015, starting on Thursday, April 9.
Virtual racegoers can book booths at NYL for all three days, including the iconic Crabbie’s Grand National on Saturday, April 11, and take advantage of the hotspots’ close proximity to several bookmakers in the area.
Andrew Kendrick, general manager at NYL, said: “There is such a buzz in the city about the National every year and as this is our first year here, we wanted to join in the celebrations in a big way!
“For those who want to soak up the atmosphere of the races, they can now do it in the comfort of our chic booths, whilst sipping on our signature cocktails and beers and most of all keeping that hairdo and outfit in tact, all day long – what more could you want!?”
Situated in the iconic Royal Insurance Building the New York-style eatery-come-bar is also offering Brunch and Bubbles (£19pp) and a post-race 3-course evening menu (£39pp) or for those wanting to make a day, or a festival of it, Brunch and Bubbles plus the 3-course evening menu is £55pp.
On Friday, April 10, guests can also enjoy the second instalment of New York Sessions at NYL, with resident DJ Josh Murphy, who will be blending an eclectic mix of Brooklyn house together with jazz, soul and funk, from 7pm until midnight.
