Cheshire’s newest restaurant Virtuoso brings a new dining venue to the town of Widnes, offering a lifestyle concept which is a home away from home where guests can drink, dine and relax. The restaurant launches on Friday 17th July when VIP guests will enjoy a selection of canapés, dinner and drinks as well as special performances.

The Virtuoso VIP launch party will showcase the venue to its full potential, showing off the menus and interior design. The Mersey Gateway Bridge which opens in 2017 is attracting key investments to the region, Virtuoso owner Kevin Sarbutts said ‘I am delighted to be able to introduce Cheshire to a lifestyle venue which is the perfect place to relax, dine and have a few premium drinks. I cannot wait for Virtuoso to welcome its first guests and we are excited about future plans to replicate the Virtuoso concept in other key towns and cities across the UK’.

Robin Di Stefano, General Manager of Virtuoso added ‘we aim to make Virtuoso an all encompassing lifestyle venue where people can unwind and socialise whilst enjoying our food and drinks. We have created a welcoming ambience where every customer’s needs are attended to’.

The bar at Virtuoso is stylish and cosmopolitan, an array of signature cocktails will be offered in addition to fine wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks. Off menu cocktail requests can easily be accommodated by the knowledgeable mixologist, making everything from a Mojito to a Vesper Martini. Virtuoso is the perfect place for all events, from business lunches to evening cocktails.

The menu at Virtuoso is led by an ethos of hearty British dishes with a European influence. Diners can expect fish & chips, steaks, brunch inspired dishes and comfort food just like Mum used to make. Desserts will focus on classics like Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chocolate Brownies and Cheesecake.

The property stood out as the ideal location for Virtuoso due to its ambience, natural light and lofty ceilings. It was transformed by the owner Kevin and his design team, with a modern and classic interior in mind. The venue aesthetic is simple yet elegant with a cool colour scheme, relaxing booth seats and a private function space which can accommodate 100 guests for events such as birthday parties, christenings and wedding receptions.

Virtuoso is open daily from 11am until late; the welcoming atmosphere has been created drawing upon years of hospitality expertise brought to bear by the owner Kevin and restaurant manager Robin who has a formidable CV within the industry. Premium quality will be offered to customers at an accessible price point, creating a gold standard hospitality environment.

Virtuoso dishes are made using the freshest locally sourced ingredients from premier independent and artisan suppliers. A selection of wines has been chosen from preeminent vineyards, which both complement and enhance the menu and are equally delicious when enjoyed alone.

With chic interior design and delicious food and drinks on offer, Virtuoso is a welcome addition to the Cheshire dining scene and enquiries have been flooding in from diners eager to try the new venue.

Menu development is constantly in progress utilising seasonal produce to create daily specials which the head chef will envision, alongside soup of the day and show stopping sharing dishes such as Chateaubriand. There will be something on the menu for everyone and even a special menu of dishes at less than 500 calories for the health-conscious.

The Virtuoso VIP launch party will be a sensational event and guests are eagerly anticipating being the first to try the new venue and to sample the selection of food and drinks on offer.
