Mother’s Day At Amanzi

On Mothers day we went along to the fabulous Amanzi Restaurant and cocktail bar in Liverpool and had a gorgeous day. Even though I have been, many times before for drinks this was the first time I had actually ate and we were blown away. You don’t notice how stunning the venue is till you actually sit down and have a meal. I have been to so many restaurants all over the place but this has got to be up there with the best.

Their was a set menu on as it was The Alist Party and BELLAvie Mothers Day Party and I always struggle with set menus (too fussy apparently!!) but still everything was fab! I had the Duck Spring Rolls, followed by a Lamb Roast Dinner and then a Vanilla and Toffee Ice Cream Sundae, I could not fault a thing. The food was exceptional!

After the food we had a few drinks, whilst listening to the chilled R&B tunes. Every song that came on, both my mum and me said ‘ ahhh i love this one!!’ the good old favs! The cocktails went down a treat this was the ‘Dirty Beach’.   If you love anything creamy, Baileys based this is one for you. I’m constantly asking for Mudslides where ever we go and since The Living Room closing there hasn’t really been anywhere that has come close in my opinion till now!

The only thing that we weren’t happy with was the fact we couldn’t stay all day as we had to dash off to another event but I would thoroughly recommend going. Definitely my new favorite place!
