Black Tie Charity Dinner – Football Players And Fashion Designers Unite At Event For Prostate Cancer
FLegends are set to attend a black tie charity event to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
Corporate and community ambassadors are invited to the charity dinner and exclusive fashion show at the Rum Warehouse to show support for the ‘Men United’ movement on March 28th.
Laura Doyle, Founder of the hosting company, My Liverpool Life is keeping tight-lipped about the celebrity guest list, but insisted there will be more than a few A-list guests making an appearance.
She said: “We’re looking forward to the evening and are delighted to be raising awareness and much needed money to help beat prostate cancer and what better way than to implement football, fashion and music of which Liverpool is renowned for being passionate about!
“The ‘Men United’ movement encourages men to form friendships, participate in activities and organize events big or small that can all benefit the charity and ultimately each other.”
To raise funds for the charity, guests can enter a prize drawer to win gifts donated by local businesses. There will also be an auction to bid on unique prizes donated by Everton Football Club and Liverpool Football Club to also raise funds for Everton in The Community and The LFC Foundation.
Laura added: “We’re very excited that we have secured Lauren Greene and her team at Chic Events Ltd to organise the event and manage all the media”.
“Lauren and I are both looking forward to bringing such a brilliant event to Liverpool and are delighted to be raising awareness and much needed money to help beat prostate cancer and what better way than to implement football, fashion and music of which the city is renowned for being passionate about!”
Entertainment for the evening is planned for over 300 guests with a champagne reception and three-course dinner, plus a guest speaker representing Prostate Cancer UK.
The exclusive men’s fashion show will showcase various international spring/summer 2015 designer collections on the runway.
Vocalist Asa Murphy will be performing with an 18-piece swing band, plus music from top DJ, Mark Armstrong.
