Two Time Grammy Nominee Tommy Emmanuel Heads To Liverpool
Legendary guitarist and two-time Grammy Award nominee Tommy Emmanuel will be visiting Liverpool on Monday 9th January for one night only to perform at The Epstein Theatre.
Voted Favourite Acoustic Guitarist in both Guitar Player Magazine and Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s reader polls, theYouTube sensation is set to wow Liverpool audiences when he brings his passionate and infectious live show to theEpstein.
The show supports the Australian native’s latest album It’s Never Too Late which features 14 tracks of original music with no vocals or guests – it’s just pure Tommy – solo.
One of Australia’s most respected musicians, the legendary guitarist has a professional career spanning five decades and continues to intersect with some of the finest musicians throughout the world.
A household name in his native Australia, Emmanuel has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. He is famous for his unique style, which he simply calls “finger style” that is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano, using all 10 fingers. Rather than using a whole band for melody, rhythm, bass, and drum parts, Emmanuel plays all that and more, on one guitar.
