Hair By Sleek Extensions
I have so many girls messaging me week after week asking what extensions I have in my hair even more so after the last photoshoot I done in James Street Hotel in Liverpool. For the past 2 years I have only really worn Hair By Sleek. The ‘Sleek’ brand was established in 1989 originally as a cosmetics company and in 1993 the company diversified into the Ethnic hair extensions market. Since 2004 Noble Sleek have been providing hair products for the European market with a wide range of colours and styles. Sleek is a trusted worldwidebrand synonymous with quality hair fashion. Sleek aspires to be the no.1 hair brand in Europe by supporting our wholesalers with excellent customer service and first class products. Sleek is a strong international player, operating in a competitive market supplying retailers worldwide. The company is passionate about hair and strives to provide quality products and cutting-edge designs so that women everywhere can create fashionable styles for themselves and look fabulous wearing Hair by Sleek.
At the moment and as for this shoot I have 1 pack of European Weave Luxury hair split over 2 rows in the back for thickness in shade 12/16/613. Around the front I have 2 packs of Remy Couture Pre-Bonded individual pieces. I always like my hair to feel slightly heavier at the back with more movement around the front and I am able to do this by using this combination. Here is a bit more in depth description over each hair type I have chosen:-
European Weave Luxury
Sleek Luxury European Weave (EW), is made from 100% Indian human hair it is super soft and silky. With fantastic lustre and shine, great volume and movement, this is a perfect match to Caucasian hair. The superiority of the hair enhances the hair’s natural curl via the light touch of water, its curl retention ability helps maintain definition giving extra volume and a natural look.
Remy Couture Pre Bonded
Remy Couture Pre-bonded Remy Hair is made from 100% high quality Indian hair. The bond is made of Keratin and is long lasting. This pre-bonded hair has been tested by prestigious salons to recognize it as high quality and long lasting bonded hair. You can also cut the bond to use your own bond if you like as the hair is of Remy hair quality.
Wondering how much this type of hair will set you back???? I always go for the 20″ in length as my own hair is naturally quite long and with my hair being blonde the lighter hair is always a little bit more expensive. The EW Luxury in 12/16/613 ( sunkissed blonde ) is about £113. The 2 packs of Pre Bonded hair in 18/613 ( ash blonde ) each pack is about £56 so for 2 packs its £112. Some people may just prefer to have one but it just depends what look you are going for.
I wash and style my hair at least 2 times a week, always using hair dryer then sometimes with additional styling using a wand, heated rollers, you name it use it on my hair. At the beginning of November I had this hair put in and its still perfectly fine 4 months on so its really good value for money. If you find its starting to go a little bit fluffy or matted after a few months then I would try only washing your own hair and try not to get too much shampoo on your extensions as this really does effect the wear of them, I also comb a conditioning treatment through them every now and then just to get that smooth glossy new feel back to them. If you look after them then you can probably get about 8/12 months out of each pack of hair.
I always get my hair colour and styling done in Hairfields hairdressing salon in Childwall Liverpool who are also stockists of Sleek Hair. If you would like to order anything or enquire call 0151-722-3798 and one of the girls will be happy to help or call in the salon on Childwall Priory Road, Liverpool, L167PF.
