Darts Legend Eric Bristow MBE Appears At Shooters Bar Liverpool
Legendary darts player Eric Bristow MBE appeared at Shooters Bar in Liverpool on 24th March. The appearance event included a meet and greet, Q&A session and the chance for fans to take on the ‘crafty cockney’ at a game of darts, giving them the opportunity to play against one of the most successful darts champions of all time, who is regarded as having transformed darts in to a spectator sport due to his gamesmanship, self-belief and personality.
Eric Bristow commented: “I am pleased to be back at Shooters Bar, it is always fun to meet some of my fans and have the chance to play against them during the afternoon. I am very fond of Liverpool as a city and I have some great memories here”.
Fans gathered for the event to witness the legendary darts champion in action. There was a great atmosphere with lots of challenges during the afternoon, giving fans the chance to win merchandise signed by the former professional darts champion who dominated the world darts scene. The renowned darts player was ranked world number one a record six times by the World Darts Federation as well as being five times World Masters Champion and four times World Cup Singles Champion. The darts veteran who retired in 2007 is now a commentator and he makes regular appearances to meet his fans.
Shooters Bar is located within the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex, centrally situated in Liverpool One. The venue serves an array of craft beers and it is the go-to destination for the screening of sporting events on the vast flat screen. The venue has recently been given a new look featuring artisan tiled flooring, industrial style light fittings, a sweeping bar area, pool tables and comfortable lounge style seating.
