Liverpool Bierkeller UnveilsA New Look After £500,000 Refurb

By  |

The Bierkeller Entertainment Complex in Liverpool One is set to unveil the results of an extensive £500k refurbishment and renovation programme, reopening in time for the busy Christmas and New Year period. The popular venue will have even more to offer its existing loyal customer base, as well as attracting a whole new demographic with the new improved look and ambience.

The restyling project encompasses the introduction of several key differences across the venue including the addition of a new bar as well as sweeping changes and modernisation across the entire complex.

The detailed redesign of the Bierkeller has taken place following a lengthy period of consultation with Bierkeller customers, gathering feedback which has been brought to bear during the renovation process to create an exciting new venue consisting of three entirely separate bars with a fourth to open in the New Year.

The unveiling of the newly redesigned Bierkeller will commence with the launch of the brand new Around The World (ATW) Bar and Lounge, set to open with a glitzy VIP launch party on 3rd December, showcasing the extensive selection of champagne and cocktails. Guests will also receive canapés offering a taste of the fresh new menu.  ATW will be known for its live lounge entertainment programme and will launch with live performances from X Factor finalist Anton Stephans.

An integral and popular part of the venue is Shooters Sports Bar which has received a total redesign. The bar has been extended to accommodate a larger amount of guests and seating has been increased by 50%. Completely unrecognisable from its previous form, Shooters now features a sweeping bar area, an open plan feel and one of the biggest high-definition indoor LED screens which is over 4 metres long and 3 metres high. This massive screen will show every type of sport. The bar will serve a carefully selected menu of artisan and craft beers sourced from select suppliers including Liverpool Organic Brewery and Mad Hatter Brewing Company.

Shooters new look comprises stylish interior design features such as decorative tiled flooring, elephant grey chesterfields, suspended industrial style feature lighting and a contemporary aesthetic.

The Bierkeller bar itself will retain its traditional Bavarian look and feel, however the bar has been extended and there are new VIP booths around the stage. The Bierkeller now also has its own self-contained bathroom facilities. Steins of fine international beers will be served in the Bierkeller, which features convivial wooden tables and a raised stage area where live music will be performed and the traditional German Oompah Band will raise the roof.

The host of extensive changes to the venue coincides with the appointment of an award-winning General Manager Mark Hansen, who has brought to bear his extensive experience within the hospitality industry to lead the Bierkeller in to this exciting period of changes, starting with the unveiling of the new look.

“We pride ourselves on having something to offer everybody here at the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex, from cocktails and craft beers to the screening of a huge selection of international sporting events such as boxing, football, NFL, La Liga and more. I am hugely excited to be leading the team in unveiling our brand new look and feel, which will demonstrate the many facets of the Bierkeller brand. The stylish interior design aesthetic and the new food and drink menus will show off the Bierkeller to its maximum potential, and the unveiling of the brand new Around The World Bar and Lounge will add a glamorous identity to the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex umbrella”. Said Mark Hansen, Bierkeller Entertainment Complex General Manager.

Joining Mark’s new management team is Aaron Greensmith as Business Development Manager and Mikey Prior as Promotions Manager.

Issaac Mayne, Area Marketing Manager for B&W Logistics the company who owns the Bierkeller added “We are excited to launch our new venue.  It is completely different and people will be surprised as to how much we have changed for the better. We now offer something for all, including quality cocktails in ATW, a bigger sports bar in Shooters and great improvements to the traditional Bierkeller”.

B&W Logistics will also introduce a 4th cider bar in the New Year.

Operations Director Peter Robinson said “We could not have anticipated the success we have seen with our Liverpool site.  After 3 years, we thought it was time to refurbish the entire site.  We owe it to our loyal customers to keep reinvesting into what will now be an amazing venue for everyone”.

Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!

Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
